ISTJ type of personality is one of 16 personalities invented by Myers-Briggs. It is nice to know that you are an ISTJ and you could use it to the full potential but it will be great to have growth out of the character because this might elevate yourself and your potential. So here is the growth advice for ISTJs: Start delegating tasks, not everything must be done by yourself. Have more fun by hanging out with people more or going on vacations. Continue learning to integrate new way of thinking to your current routine.  

Having a dream is a must to keep you going. But a lot of time we left it on our dream journal and not progressing about it. So how to make it achievable and having constant motivation to pursue it. Write it, visualize it, hang it on where you can see every day. It will be great that the first thing you see in the morning is this visualization, it will give you energy boost in the morning. Small goal does not matter. Our goals related to what stage we are going through at that time. Hierarchy of goals. Divide the goal from Top Level goal, to Mid Level and Low Level goal. Breakdown the dream to smaller goals. Low Level = Most concrete and specific goals - belong to our short term to do list. Now this is what makes your goals seemingly achievable. Take the crucial first step Do something about it, don't let it idle. You won't reach it if you don't do anything about it. source  

I am one of those people who buys book because I like the topic of the book or if the topic of the book feels like my must-have knowledge. But the bad habit right now is left the book unfinished because I feel like reading it is a chore and it is easy to forget what I read. So here is how to read faster and better: Read from the middle and expand your peripheral vision Read at 70 percent comprehension. This is where I thought where the chore part is because I felt bad not understanding every single line. It is okay to not fully understand it, otherwise you won't finish the book. Just visualize what you read to help you with this comprehension task. Train your focus. Make the environment not an easily distracted place. One of the tip is to trace the book line by line with your finger. source
